Who we are
The website alfatar.ro is operated by ALFATAR TECH S.R.L. ("Alfatar Tech", the "Company", "we"), a limited liability company incorporated under Romanian law, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2026017885003, tax ID (CUI) 54277150, EUID ROONRC.J2026017885003, with its registered office at Calea Griviței 84-98, The Mark Tower Building, office 3b, 3rd floor, Sector 1, Bucharest 010735, Romania. What data we process
This website is informational. It does not use cookies, analytics or tracking technologies.
Messages sent through the contact form and applications sent through the form on the careers page are transmitted by the website's own backend (Azure Functions, in the European Union) and delivered by email to the office@alfatar.ro mailbox in Microsoft 365. Nothing is stored on the website itself. CVs are kept only in that mailbox.
If you contact us through a form or by email, we process the personal data you choose to include (typically your name, email address, company and the content of your message) solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a business relationship. For job applications, we process your CV and the data in it solely for the recruitment process.
The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps, West Europe region, in the European Union). Our hosting provider automatically records technical server logs, such as IP address, browser type and time of access, for security and reliability purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify visitors.
Legal basis
We process contact data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and conducting business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where applicable, to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Candidate data is processed on the basis of pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in recruitment.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period thereafter, unless a longer retention is required by law or a business relationship follows. CVs of unsuccessful candidates are deleted within 12 months unless you agree to a longer retention.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf (email and hosting providers) under appropriate data-processing agreements. Some providers may process data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro). To exercise your rights, write to office@alfatar.ro.

We may update this policy as the website evolves. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
